Moriré was born from care; the kind that begins at home.
Founded by a mother and daughter, Moriré began as a response to a very personal need: soothing our baby brother’s sensitive skin. In searching for something gentle, effective, and safe enough for him, we turned to what generations before us had always trusted - shea butter.
In Nigeria, shea butter is known as ‘ori’. It is simple, powerful, and deeply nourishing. But while ori is rich in goodness, its traditional texture can feel heavy on the skin. Moriré was created as a thoughtful evolution of that heritage; a lighter, softer replication of ori, carefully formulated so the goodness is not just applied, but truly felt.
Every Moriré product reflects this intention: to honour tradition while refining it for modern skin and everyday rituals. We focus on minimal ingredients, gentle formulations, and a sensory experience that feels comforting, effective, and effortless.
